Despite low expectations, a lot got done this session: $1.2 billion bonding bill, license tab cut, property tax relief, various fraud bills, IT modernization, security for lawmakers and judges, memorial for Melissa Hortman, housing initiatives, reading measures and more. Immigration compensation was left out as economic issues increasingly look like a campaign issue ahead.
